St Margaret’s Day
As we did for the Coronation, we will be hosting a Bring & Share picnic lunch in church on Sunday 23rd July, the day we will celebrate our Patronal Festival of St Margaret of Antioch. Bubbles and a few sandwiches will be provided, but please come with picnic food that can be shared by all (or your own packed lunch, if you prefer).
Coffee Mornings at The Plough
The Deans Senior Tea Club is holding coffee mornings at The Plough on Thursday 3rd August and Thursday 7th September from 1000 – 1200. All welcome. Perhaps have a coffee there before coming to the 1200 Eucharist in church?
Service Phoneline – a donation
A number of people continue to listen to our recorded audio services so skilfully edited by Rowland Myers. We have received a very generous donation of £500 in loving memory of Jill Brice RIP who listened to the service every week in the latter years of her life. She said that it was her lifeline to church, and her donation, as well as others we receive, will ensure that we can continue to provide the service for others to enjoy for quite some time. Thank you, Jill (and Rowland)!
Knit & Natter
The group meets on Wednesdays at 1900 in church. New members always welcome. Some of us knit, and we all natter. Just come along!
Bible Study
The group meets in church on Tuesday mornings at 1000 for an hour or so of discussion, reflection and fellowship, currently working through the book Revelation. Do feel free to dip in and out – you don’t have to commit to attending every week.
