Healing Service – today
These resume today and each first Sunday of each month at 1700.

Lent Charity Lunches
Come along to church on Tuesdays in Lent at 1200 for fellowship and a simple lunch of homemade soup, baguette, tea and biscuits – all for £5. Proceeds after costs will support St Anne’s Day Centre in Kemp Town. For those that would like to join, there will be a half-hour Bible study from 1115-1145. Or just come for lunch!

Supporting Ukraine – two events
Our sing-a-long film night with a showing of Singing in the Rain has been rescheduled for Friday 1st April at 1900. Entry £10. On Saturday 2nd April, well-known actor and local resident Tom Cotcher and friends will put on a charity concert (details to follow). Both events are to raise money for the Disasters Emergency Committee Ukraine Humanitarian Appeal. You might also think of supporting the Link to Hope appeal: https://linktohope.co.uk/campaigns/donate-to-the-ukraine/ (This is the charity through which we send shoeboxes of gifts at Christmas).

A new CD
Bob Lewis has released a new CD including settings of poems by Bob Copper. If you would like a copy, please contact Bob directly at 41 Coombe Vale, Saltdean, BN2 8HN, tel. 01273 303 818. CDs are £5 each or £8 to include post and packing.

Knit & Natter
The group meets on Wednesdays at 1900 in church. New members always welcome. We knit and we natter. Just come along! The group will break for Easter and will not be meeting on Wednesdays 13th and 20th April. Meetings will resume on 27th April. Sue Leaney – 07803 179 617

A legacy
We have received notification of an unrestricted bequest of £5,000 from the estate of the late Peter Leigh RIP whom many members of the congregation will remember for his devotion and service to St Margaret’s, especially in his work as Sacristan.

Medicine blister pack recycling
Unfortunately, due to a lack of volunteers, we can no longer recycle blister packs at St Margaret’s Church. The only re-cycling point in Brighton is at the SUPERDRUG store at 77 Western Road, close to Waitrose.

Jubilee Songs of Praise
As part of the celebrations of Her Majesty The Queen’s 70th Jubilee, we will be holding a Songs of Praise with film reel and images on Sunday 5th June at 1500. Please start thinking about choosing your favourite hymn, and be ready to tell us why it means so much to you!
