Church Development Project – reminder
Work will begin after Easter and the church building will be closed from 1st April until early November. Sunday services will be celebrated in the Village Hall at 1000 by permission of the Bishop from Sunday 7th April. On a very few dates, the service will need to be at 1700 because of prior hall bookings: 21st April, 14th July and 13th October. Bible Study on Tuesdays and a service of reflection on Thursdays will be held at the Plough Inn, both at 1100. We will usually be able to be in the main building: please use the door on the right-hand side (not the courtyard). Knit & Natter will be held at the Vicarage on Wednesdays at 1900.

N.B. There will be no services or events at all in the first week of April, including Knit & Natter, as we clear the church of its furnishings. Please come along to help on Tuesday 2nd and Thursday 4th April from 1000. The more, the merrier!

Pews
All the pews have now been sold and are going to good homes. The carved oak pew which used to stand behind the font in what was known as ‘Children’s Corner’ is being donated to St Margaret’s Primary School, to preserve it and keep it in the village.

Easter Flowers 2024
Thank you for the kind and generous donations towards the Easter Flowers this year. Donations have been given
in loving memory of Leighton Joseph Little
in memory of Brian Gill
in memory of Paul Eardley
amongst others. Thank you to all those who came along and arranged the Easter posies. Duncan (and thank you to Duncan for organising it all! Ed.)

From the Whitehawk Foodbank
‘Many thanks for the 22kg of food that you collected.
It has been given to new grateful homes.’ Ron White
