Annual Parochial Church Meeting (APCM)
Our 2023 APCM will be held immediately after the service today. Grab a coffee, have a look through the reports and accounts and then join us if you can. It shouldn’t last long!
Church Flowers 2023 – Pentecost
Our next workshop is on Saturday 27 May 2023 10am to 12noon, to prepare flowers for Pentecost. The aim of the workshop is to assist those who would like to arrange flowers for the Sunday service who may want some tuition, guidance or support.
If you would like to bring some flowers and foliage along with your scissors, using red flowers for Pentecost and have a go, you will be most welcome.
Please e-mail Duncan Ward with any queries at: email@example.com
Deans Alpha Course
St Margaret’s, St Nicholas’, Holy Cross and St Wulfran’s are running an Alpha Course for the Deans, continuing on Wednesday 1830 – 2000 for another 4 weeks at Holy Cross, Woodingdean. FREE! Everyone welcome to learn about or explore Christianity, whether
a complete beginner or someone who has been coming to church for years. All very gentle: refreshments, a video & group discussion. (40 people attended the first session last Wednesday!)
If you would like to donate to Christian Aid, you can do so online on their website. Alternatively, please bring cash or cheque donations to church in an envelope marked ‘Christian Aid’ and we will send it on.
Visiting Speaker on 28th May
On Sunday 28th May, the Feast of Pentecost, we will be welcoming Lisa Leaf from the charity Compassion which supports children in poverty through a network of churches in 25 developing countries. ‘Our approach to fighting poverty is highly focused and personal. We show every child that they matter, linking them with one sponsor whose support gives them hope and a future.’

The group meets on Wednesdays at 1900 in church. New members always welcome. Some of us knit, and we all natter. Just come along!
The group meets in church on Tuesday mornings at 1000 for an hour or so of discussion, reflection and fellowship, currently working through the book Revelation. Do feel free to dip in and out – you don’t have to commit to attending every week.
